full-time graduate EHO ROLE

Role responsibilities:

  • Complete licence applications as per the Housing Act 2004
  • Complete Local Area Compliance Checks (we create a great a report for the most likely outcome of going through licensing)
  • Give a good client experience and be customer focused
  • Assist other team members with admin and client related tasks

To be considered for this post you must:

  • Be a newly qualified graduate who holds a BSc or MSc in Environmental Health (or equivalent qualification) who is working toward their CIEH/EHRB.
  • Live in london or be willing to relocate
  • Have a detailed understanding of the Housing Act 2004, HMOs, property licensing, and enforcement in England and Wales
  • Be an excellent communicator (verbal and written)
  • Be able to provide excellent customer service from start to finish
  • Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Be proficient in prioritising, managing your own time and working to deadlines
  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Be proficient in using computers and online systems
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

It would be preferable if you:

  • Are HHSRS trained
  • Have previous experience submitting licence applications to the local authorities
  • Have the ability to explain complex and technical issues accurately and clearly to clients
